    Cancer remains the leading cause of death in South Korea in 2020, continuing to rank first since 1983, according to data from the country’s statistical office on Tuesday (28/9).

    Cancer caused 160.1 deaths per 100,000 people in South Korea in 2020.

    This figure is up 1.2 percent from the previous year, according to Statistics Korea.
